This lite bite session will ensure that colleagues have an understanding of the roles and responsibilities under Working Together 2023, assess threshold and risk as well as learning about the referral process.
Learning Objectives
To understand our roles and responsibilities within a safeguarding context and ensure that children remain the focus of our work
To increase awareness of the child protection process
To reinforce he Signs of Safety model in practice – do we do this in the lite bite?
To understand the thresholds and risk assessment
To learn how to make an appropriate referral
To highlight the importance of accessing the right support at the earliest opportunity
